So David waxed greater and greater: for the Lord of hosts was with him.
And the fame of David went out into all lands; and the Lord brought the fear of him upon all nations.
And all the acts of his power and of his might, and the declaration of the greatness of Mor´decai, whereunto the king advanced him, are they not written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Me´di-a and Persia?
And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.
