So they hanged Haman on the gallows that he had prepared for Mor´decai. Then was the king's wrath pacified.
And Harbo´na, one of the chamberlains, said before the king, Behold also the gallows fifty cubits high, which Haman had made for Mor´decai, who had spoken good for the king, standeth in the house of Haman. Then the king said, Hang him thereon.
Then said Esther, If it please the king, let it be granted to the Jews which are in Shushan to do tomorrow also according unto this day's decree, and let Haman's ten sons be hanged upon the gallows.
