And when they sware that they could not tell where the man was whom he sought,

When they asserted with solemn pledges that they didn’t know where he was,

When these spoke oaths to him that they did not know where he who was being sought was, he extended his hand toward the temple,

And when they swore unto him, that they knew not where the man was whom he sought, he stretched out his hand to the temple,

But the priests declared under oath that they had no idea where Judas was hiding.

When they declared with oaths that they had no knowledge where the man was whom he sought,

But the priests swore that they did not know where to find Judas.
