And they smote the men that were at the door of the house with blindness, both small and great: so that they wearied themselves to find the door.


and I will come upon him while he is weary and weak-handed, and will make him afraid: and all the people that are with him shall flee; and I will smite the king only:


And Ben–ha´dad the king of Syria gathered all his host together: and there were thirty and two kings with him, and horses, and chariots: and he went up and besieged Samaria, and warred against it.


And they went out at noon. But Ben–ha´dad was drinking himself drunk in the pavilions, he and the kings, the thirty and two kings that helped him.


And do this thing, Take the kings away, every man out of his place, and put captains in their rooms:


And it came to pass, when the captains of the chariots saw Jehosh´aphat, that they said, Surely it is the king of Israel. And they turned aside to fight against him: and Jehosh´aphat cried out.


Now the king of Syria had commanded the captains of the chariots that were with him, saying, Fight ye not with small or great, save only with the king of Israel.


Both the great and the small shall die in this land: they shall not be buried, neither shall men lament for them, nor cut themselves, nor make themselves bald for them:


and had taken the women captives, that were therein: they slew not any, either great or small, but carried them away, and went on their way.
