And Azari´ah begat Serai´ah, and Serai´ah begat Jehoz´adak,
and Azariah begat Seraiah, and Seraiah begat Jehozadak,
Azariah of Seraiah, and Seraiah of Jehozadak;
and Azariah begat Seraiah, and Seraiah begat Jehozadak;
Azariah of Seraiah, and Seraiah of Jehozadak.
Azariah conceived Seraiah, and Seraiah conceived Jehozadak.
Azarias begot Saraias, and Saraias begot Josedec.
And the captain of the guard took Serai´ah the chief priest, and Zephani´ah the second priest, and the three keepers of the door:
and Shallum begat Hilki´ah, and Hilki´ah begat Azari´ah,
and Jehoz´adak went into captivity, when the Lord carried away Judah and Jerusalem by the hand of Nebuchadnez´zar.
Now after these things, in the reign of Artaxerx´es king of Persia, Ezra the son of Serai´ah, the son of Azari´ah, the son of Hilki´ah,
Serai´ah the son of Hilki´ah, the son of Meshul´lam, the son of Zadok, the son of Merai´oth, the son of Ahi´tub, was the ruler of the house of God.
then take silver and gold, and make crowns, and set them upon the head of Joshua the son of Jos´edech, the high priest;
