And when David was a little past the top of the hill, behold, Ziba the servant of Mephib´osheth met him, with a couple of asses saddled, and upon them two hundred loaves of bread, and a hundred bunches of raisins, and a hundred of summer fruits, and a bottle of wine.


And all the people came up after him, and the people piped with pipes, and rejoiced with great joy, so that the earth rent with the sound of them.


And all the people of the land rejoiced, and the city was in quiet: and they slew Athali´ah with the sword beside the king's house.


And there they were with David three days, eating and drinking: for their brethren had prepared for them.


And David consulted with the captains of thousands and hundreds, and with every leader.


and did eat and drink before the Lord on that day with great gladness. And they made Solomon the son of David king the second time, and anointed him unto the Lord to be the chief governor, and Zadok to be priest.


When it goeth well with the righteous, the city rejoiceth: and when the wicked perish, there is shouting.

Then Ab´igail made haste, and took two hundred loaves, and two bottles of wine, and five sheep ready dressed, and five measures of parched corn, and a hundred clusters of raisins, and two hundred cakes of figs, and laid them on asses.
