and Ophir, and Hav´ilah, and Jobab: all these were the sons of Joktan.


The name of the first is Pison: that is it which compasseth the whole land of Hav´ilah, where there is gold;


And they dwelt from Hav´ilah unto Shur, that is before Egypt, as thou goest toward Assyria: and he died in the presence of all his brethren.


And the navy also of Hiram, that brought gold from Ophir, brought in from Ophir great plenty of almug trees, and precious stones.


And they came to Ophir, and fetched from thence gold, four hundred and twenty talents, and brought it to king Solomon.


and Ebal, and Abim´a-el, and Sheba,


even three thousand talents of gold, of the gold of Ophir, and seven thousand talents of refined silver, to overlay the walls of the houses withal:


Then shalt thou lay up gold as dust, and the gold of Ophir as the stones of the brooks.
