The entrance of thy words giveth light; it giveth understanding unto the simple.


The statutes of the Lord are right, rejoicing the heart: the commandment of the Lord is pure, enlightening the eyes.


For the commandment is a lamp; and the law is light; and reproofs of instruction are the way of life:


that thou mightest know the certainty of those things, wherein thou hast been instructed.


And that servant, which knew his lord's will, and prepared not himself, neither did according to his will, shall be beaten with many stripes.


If ye know these things, happy are ye if ye do them.


For whatsoever things were written aforetime were written for our learning, that we through patience and comfort of the Scriptures might have hope.


and art confident that thou thyself art a guide of the blind, a light of them which are in darkness,


And what nation is there so great, that hath statutes and judgments so righteous as all this law, which I set before you this day?


that ye may approve things that are excellent; that ye may be sincere and without offense till the day of Christ;


Prove all things; hold fast that which is good.


But strong meat belongeth to them that are of full age, even those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil.


Therefore to him that knoweth to do good, and doeth it not, to him it is sin.
