The price to save someone’s life is too high— wealth will never be enough—
I will not reprove you for your sacrifices. Moreover, your holocausts are ever in my sight.
I will not reprove thee for thy sacrifices: and thy burnt offerings are always in my sight.
or, Deliver me from the enemy's hand? or, Redeem me from the hand of the mighty?
Lord, where are thy former loving-kindnesses, which thou swarest unto David in thy truth?
For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?
