For thou hast confirmed to thyself thy people Israel to be a people unto thee for ever: and thou, Lord, art become their God.


O my soul, thou hast said unto the Lord, Thou art my Lord: my goodness extendeth not to thee;


The meek will he guide in judgment: and the meek will he teach his way.


But I trusted in thee, O Lord: I said, Thou art my God.


Now also when I am old and grayheaded, O God, forsake me not; until I have showed thy strength unto this generation, and thy power to every one that is to come.


Thou shalt guide me with thy counsel, and afterward receive me to glory.


My flesh and my heart faileth: but God is the strength of my heart, and my portion for ever.


I lead in the way of righteousness, in the midst of the paths of judgment:


and the Lord shall guide thee continually, and satisfy thy soul in drought, and make fat thy bones: and thou shalt be like a watered garden, and like a spring of water, whose waters fail not.


This I recall to my mind, therefore have I hope.


Or whether it were two days, or a month, or a year, that the cloud tarried upon the tabernacle, remaining thereon, the children of Israel abode in their tents, and journeyed not: but when it was taken up, they journeyed.


Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will show you things to come.
