The Spirit of the Lord spake by me, and his word was in my tongue.


this Ezra went up from Babylon; and he was a ready scribe in the law of Moses, which the Lord God of Israel had given: and the king granted him all his request, according to the hand of the Lord his God upon him.


My words shall be of the uprightness of my heart: and my lips shall utter knowledge clearly.


Let us choose to us judgment: let us know among ourselves what is good.


Yet have I set my King upon my holy hill of Zion.


As the hart panteth after the water brooks, so panteth my soul after thee, O God.


My mouth shall speak of wisdom; and the meditation of my heart shall be of understanding.


Save me, O God; for the waters are come in unto my soul.


Give ear, O Shepherd of Israel, thou that leadest Joseph like a flock; thou that dwellest between the cherubim, shine forth.


The heart of the wise teacheth his mouth, and addeth learning to his lips.


While the King sitteth at his table, my spikenard sendeth forth the smell thereof.


Now will I sing to my well-beloved a song of my beloved touching his vineyard. My well-beloved hath a vineyard in a very fruitful hill:


A good man out of the good treasure of the heart bringeth forth good things: and an evil man out of the evil treasure bringeth forth evil things.


Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world:


and set up over his head his accusation written, This is Jesus the King of the Jews.


This is a great mystery: but I speak concerning Christ and the church.


For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost.
