and Jacob begat Joseph the husband of Mary, of whom was born Jesus, who is called Christ.


And Simon Peter answered and said, Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God.


And as they came down from the mountain, Jesus charged them, saying, Tell the vision to no man, until the Son of man be risen again from the dead.


And Jesus saith unto him, See thou tell no man; but go thy way, show thyself to the priest, and offer the gift that Moses commanded, for a testimony unto them.


And he charged them that they should tell no man of him.


And as they came down from the mountain, he charged them that they should tell no man what things they had seen, till the Son of man were risen from the dead.


For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord.


And he straitly charged them, and commanded them to tell no man that thing;


And when the voice was past, Jesus was found alone. And they kept it close, and told no man in those days any of those things which they had seen.


He first findeth his own brother Simon, and saith unto him, We have found the Messiah, which is, being interpreted, the Christ.


Philip findeth Nathan´a-el, and saith unto him, We have found him, of whom Moses in the law, and the prophets, did write, Jesus of Nazareth, the son of Joseph.


She saith unto him, Yea, Lord: I believe that thou art the Christ, the Son of God, which should come into the world.


but these are written, that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing ye might have life through his name.


Therefore let all the house of Israel know assuredly, that God hath made that same Jesus, whom ye have crucified, both Lord and Christ.


Who is a liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist, that denieth the Father and the Son.


Whosoever believeth that Jesus is the Christ is born of God: and every one that loveth him that begat loveth him also that is begotten of him.
