For a day in thy courts is better than a thousand. I had rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God, than to dwell in the tents of wickedness.


Then answered Peter, and said unto Jesus, Lord, it is good for us to be here: if thou wilt, let us make here three tabernacles; one for thee, and one for Moses, and one for Eli´jah.


and greetings in the markets, and to be called of men, Rabbi, Rabbi.


But be not ye called Rabbi: for one is your Master, even Christ; and all ye are brethren.


And there appeared unto them Eli´jah with Moses: and they were talking with Jesus.


For he wist not what to say; for they were sore afraid.


And it came to pass, as they departed from him, Peter said unto Jesus, Master, it is good for us to be here: and let us make three tabernacles; one for thee, and one for Moses, and one for Eli´jah: not knowing what he said.


In the mean while his disciples prayed him, saying, Master, eat.


For I am in a strait betwixt two, having a desire to depart, and to be with Christ; which is far better:


Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.
