Woe unto thee, Chora´zin! woe unto thee, Bethsai´da! for if the mighty works, which were done in you, had been done in Tyre and Sidon, they would have repented long ago in sackcloth and ashes.


And Jesus, walking by the sea of Galilee, saw two brethren, Simon called Peter, and Andrew his brother, casting a net into the sea: for they were fishers.


And there followed him great multitudes of people from Galilee, and from Decap´olis, and from Jerusalem, and from Judea, and from beyond Jordan.


And he departed, and began to publish in Decap´olis how great things Jesus had done for him: and all men did marvel.


And from thence he arose, and went into the borders of Tyre and Sidon, and entered into a house, and would have no man know it: but he could not be hid.


And when she was come to her house, she found the devil gone out, and her daughter laid upon the bed.
