But he said unto her, Thou speakest as one of the foolish women speaketh. What? shall we receive good at the hand of God, and shall we not receive evil? In all this did not Job sin with his lips.


To whom hast thou uttered words? And whose spirit came from thee?


wherefore I abhor myself, and repent in dust and ashes.


Reprove not a scorner, lest he hate thee: rebuke a wise man, and he will love thee.


The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it?


But he turned, and said unto Peter, Get thee behind me, Satan: thou art an offense unto me: for thou savorest not the things that be of God, but those that be of men.
