Then the lord of that servant was moved with compassion, and loosed him, and forgave him the debt.


And when Jesus saw that he answered discreetly, he said unto him, Thou art not far from the kingdom of God. And no man after that durst ask him any question.


Now it came to pass, as they went, that he entered into a certain village: and a certain woman named Martha received him into her house.


And when they had nothing to pay, he frankly forgave them both. Tell me therefore, which of them will love him most?


And he turned to the woman, and said unto Simon, Seest thou this woman? I entered into thine house, thou gavest me no water for my feet: but she hath washed my feet with tears, and wiped them with the hairs of her head.


Wherefore I say unto thee, Her sins, which are many, are forgiven; for she loved much: but to whom little is forgiven, the same loveth little.
