whose fan is in his hand, and he will thoroughly purge his floor, and will gather the wheat into his garner; but the chaff he will burn with fire unquenchable.


But Herod the tetrarch, being reproved by him for Hero´di-as his brother Philip's wife, and for all the evils which Herod had done,


John bare witness of him, and cried, saying, This was he of whom I spake, He that cometh after me is preferred before me; for he was before me.


The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world!


And I saw, and bare record that this is the Son of God.


And with many other words did he testify and exhort, saying, Save yourselves from this untoward generation.


And when he had gone over those parts, and had given them much exhortation, he came into Greece,


or he that exhorteth, on exhortation: he that giveth, let him do it with simplicity; he that ruleth, with diligence; he that showeth mercy, with cheerfulness.
