Haste thee, escape thither; for I cannot do any thing till thou be come thither. Therefore the name of the city was called Zo´ar.


And Jacob was left alone; and there wrestled a man with him until the breaking of the day.


And he said, Let me go, for the day breaketh. And he said, I will not let thee go, except thou bless me.


Therefore the children of Israel eat not of the sinew which shrank, which is upon the hollow of the thigh, unto this day; because he touched the hollow of Jacob's thigh in the sinew that shrank.


Fear not, thou worm Jacob, and ye men of Israel; I will help thee, saith the Lord, and thy Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel.


Thus saith the Lord, the Holy One of Israel, and his Maker, Ask me of things to come concerning my sons, and concerning the work of my hands command ye me.


Watch and pray, that ye enter not into temptation: the spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.


And he left them, and went away again, and prayed the third time, saying the same words.
