In the six hundredth year of Noah's life, in the second month, the seventeenth day of the month, the same day were all the fountains of the great deep broken up, and the windows of heaven were opened.


And Nadab the son of Jerobo´am began to reign over Israel in the second year of Asa king of Judah, and reigned over Israel two years.


So David slept with his fathers, and was buried in the city of David.


So Ahab slept with his fathers; and Ahazi´ah his son reigned in his stead.


So he died according to the word of the Lord which Eli´jah had spoken. And Jeho´ram reigned in his stead, in the second year of Jeho´ram the son of Jehosh´aphat king of Judah; because he had no son.


And in the fifth year of Joram the son of Ahab king of Israel, Jehosh´aphat being then king of Judah, Jeho´ram the son of Jehosh´aphat king of Judah began to reign.


Joram his son, Ahazi´ah his son, Jo´ash his son,
