For promotion comes neither from the east, nor from the west, nor from the south.

For promotion cometh neither from the east, nor from the west, Nor from the south.

For not from the east nor from the west nor from the south come promotion and lifting up. [Isa. 14:13.]

Because what exalts someone doesn’t come from the east or west; it’s not from the south either.
