He teaches my hands to make war; so that a bow of steel is broken by my arms.


And he said to the king of Israel, Put your hand upon the bow. And he put his hand upon it: and Elisha put his hands upon the king’s hands.


The LORD is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my strength, in whom I will trust; my shield, and the horn of my salvation, and my high tower.


I will call upon the LORD, who is worthy to be praised: so shall I be saved from my enemies.


For who is God except the LORD? or who is a rock except our God?


He teaches my hands to make war, so that a bow of bronze is bent by my arms.


You have also given me the shield of your salvation: and your right hand has held me up, and your gentleness has made me great.


Through God we shall do valiantly: for he it is that shall tread down our enemies.


Be my strong habitation, to which I may continually resort: you have given commandment to save me; for you are my rock and my fortress.


O come, let us sing unto the LORD: let us make a joyful noise to the rock of our salvation.


Trust in the LORD forever: for in the LORD GOD is everlasting strength:


Surely, shall one say, in the LORD have I righteousness and strength: even to him shall men come; and all that are incensed against him shall be ashamed.


(For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds;)
