Hear, O our God; for we are despised: and turn their reproach upon their own head, and give them for a spoil in a land of captivity:


Reproach has broken my heart; and I am full of heaviness: and I looked for some to take pity, but there was none; and for comforters, but I found none.


For the zeal of your house has eaten me up; and the reproaches of them that reproached you are fallen upon me.


When pride comes, then comes shame: but with the lowly is wisdom.


A righteous man hates lying: but a wicked man is loathsome, and comes to shame.


A fool has no delight in understanding, but that his heart may express itself.
