Even these of them you may eat; the locust after its kind, and the bald locust after its kind, and the cricket after its kind, and the grasshopper after its kind.


And it shall come to pass in that day, that the prophets shall be ashamed every one of his vision, when he has prophesied; neither shall they wear a robe of coarse hair to deceive:


Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the LORD:


For John came neither eating nor drinking, and they say, He has a demon.


But what went you out to see? A man clothed in soft clothes? behold, they that wear soft clothing are in kings' houses.


And John was clothed with camel's hair, and with a belt of a skin about his waist; and he did eat locusts and wild honey;


And he shall go before him in the spirit and power of Elijah, to turn the hearts of the fathers to the children, and the disobedient to the wisdom of the just; to make ready a people prepared for the Lord.


He made him ride on the high places of the earth, that he might eat the increase of the fields; and he made him to suck honey out of the rock, and oil out of the flinty rock;


And I will give power unto my two witnesses, and they shall prophesy a thousand two hundred and three score days, clothed in sackcloth.
