Whose fan is in his hand, and he will thoroughly purge his floor, and will gather the wheat into his barn; but the chaff he will burn with fire unquenchable.


But Herod the tetrarch, being reproved by him for Herodias his brother Philip's wife, and for all the evils which Herod had done,


John bore witness of him, and cried, saying, This was he of whom I spoke, He that comes after me is preferred before me: for he was before me.


The next day John saw Jesus coming unto him, and said, Behold the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world.


And I saw, and bore record that this is the Son of God.


And with many other words did he testify and exhort, saying, Save yourselves from this corrupt generation.


And when he had gone through those parts, and had given them much exhortation, he came into Greece,


Or he that exhorts, on exhortation: he that gives, let him do it in simplicity; he that rules, with diligence; he that shows mercy, with cheerfulness.
