And, behold, there was a man in Jerusalem, whose name was Simeon; and the same man was just and devout, waiting for the consolation of Israel: and the Holy Spirit was upon him.
And there was one Anna, a prophetess, the daughter of Phanuel, of the tribe of Asher: she was of a great age, and had lived with a husband seven years from her virginity;
(The same had not consented to the council and the action of them;) he was of Arimathea, a city of the Jews: who also himself waited for the kingdom of God.
But we hoped that it was he who should have redeemed Israel: and besides all this, today is the third day since these things were done.
