O Lord, open my lips; and my mouth shall show forth your praise.


And the LORD said unto him, Who has made man's mouth? or who makes the dumb, or deaf, or the seeing, or the blind? have not I the LORD?


And in that day you shall say, O LORD, I will praise you: though you were angry with me, your anger is turned away, and you comforted me.


Then the LORD put forth his hand, and touched my mouth. And the LORD said unto me, Behold, I have put my words in your mouth.


In that day will I cause the horn of the house of Israel to spring forth, and I will open your mouth to speak in the midst of them; and they shall know that I am the LORD.


But when I speak with you, I will open your mouth, and you shall say unto them, Thus says the Lord GOD; He that hears, let him hear; and he that refuses, let him refuse: for they are a rebellious house.


Now the hand of the LORD was upon me in the evening, before he that was escaped came; and had opened my mouth, until he came to me in the morning; and my mouth was opened, and I was no more dumb.


And when the demon was cast out, the dumb man spoke: and the multitudes marveled, saying, It was never so seen in Israel.


And, behold, you shall be dumb, and not able to speak, until the day that these things shall be performed, because you believe not my words, which shall be fulfilled in their time.
