Who executes justice for the oppressed: who gives food to the hungry. The LORD looses the prisoners:


The young lions do lack, and suffer hunger: but they that seek the LORD shall not lack any good thing.


And I will raise up for them a garden of renown, and they shall be no more consumed with hunger in the land, neither bear the shame of the nations any more.


Blessed are they who do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled.


He has helped his servant Israel, in remembrance of his mercy;


Blessed are you that hunger now: for you shall be filled. Blessed are you that weep now: for you shall laugh.


But woe unto you that are rich! for you have received your consolation.


And Jesus said unto them, I am the bread of life: he that comes to me shall never hunger; and he that believes on me shall never thirst.


For you see your calling, brethren, how that not many wise men after the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble, are called:


Now you are full, now you are rich, you have reigned as kings without us: and I would to God you did reign, that we also might reign with you.


They that were full have hired out themselves for bread; and they that were hungry ceased to hunger: so that the barren has borne seven; and she that has many children has grown feeble.
