For it increases. You hunt me as a fierce lion: and again you show yourself awesome against me.


Let not an evil speaker be established in the earth: evil shall hunt the violent man to overthrow him.


Then said the LORD unto me, You have well seen: for I will hasten my word to perform it.


Behold, I will send for many fishermen, says the LORD, and they shall catch them; and afterward will I send for many hunters, and they shall hunt them from every mountain, and from every hill, and out of the holes of the rocks.


And when he was in the gate of Benjamin, a captain of the guard was there, whose name was Irijah, the son of Shelemiah, the son of Hananiah; and he took Jeremiah the prophet, saying, You are deserting to the Chaldeans.


The prophets prophesy falsely, and the priests bear rule by their own power; and my people love to have it so: and what will you do in the end?


For thus says the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; The daughter of Babylon is like a threshingfloor, it is time to thresh her: yet a little while, and the time of her harvest shall come.


My enemies chased me hard, like a bird, without cause.


Son of man, behold, they of the house of Israel say, The vision that he sees is for many days from now, and he prophesies of the times that are far off.


And he said, Amos, what see you? And I said, A basket of summer fruit. Then said the LORD unto me, The end has come upon my people of Israel; I will not again pass by them anymore.


After whom is the king of Israel come out? after whom do you pursue? after a dead dog, after a flea.
