The people answered him, We have heard out of the law that Christ abides forever: and how say you, The Son of man must be lifted up? who is this Son of man?


Little children, yet a little while I am with you. You shall seek me: and as I said unto the Jews, Where I go, you cannot come; so now I say to you.


Nicodemus said unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter the second time into his mother's womb, and be born?


Nicodemus answered and said unto him, How can these things be?


The Jews then murmured at him, because he said, I am the bread which came down from heaven.


The Jews therefore strove among themselves, saying, How can this man give us his flesh to eat?


Many therefore of his disciples, when they had heard this, said, This is a hard saying; who can hear it?


You shall seek me, and shall not find me: and where I am, there you cannot come.


Then said Jesus again unto them, I go my way, and you shall seek me, and shall die in your sins: where I go, you cannot come.


But the natural man receives not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.
