John bore witness of him, and cried, saying, This was he of whom I spoke, He that comes after me is preferred before me: for he was before me.
He it is, who coming after me is preferred before me, whose shoe's thong I am not worthy to unloose.
This is he of whom I said, After me comes a man who is preferred before me: for he was before me.
For the bread of God is he who comes down from heaven, and gives life unto the world.
