Yours, O LORD, is the greatness, and the power, and the glory, and the victory, and the majesty: for all that is in the heaven and in the earth is yours; yours is the kingdom, O LORD, and you are exalted as head above all.


I was dumb, I opened not my mouth; because you did it.


God has spoken once; twice have I heard this; that power belongs unto God.


Who is he that says, and it comes to pass, when the Lord commands it not?


This sentence is by the decree of the watchers, and the decision by the word of the holy ones: to the intent that the living may know that the most High rules in the kingdom of men, and gives it to whomever he will, and sets up over it the lowliest of men.

To do whatsoever your hand and your counsel determined before to be done.


For of him, and through him, and to him, are all things: to whom be glory forever. Amen.


Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers. For there is no power but of God: the powers that be are ordained of God.


Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and comes down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning.


Therefore to him that knows to do good, and does it not, to him it is sin.
