And all Judah stood before the LORD, with their little ones, their wives, and their children.
And said unto them, Hear me, you Levites, sanctify now yourselves, and sanctify the house of the LORD God of your fathers, and carry forth the filth out of the holy place.
For there were many in the congregation that were not sanctified: therefore the Levites had charge of the killing of the passover lambs for everyone that was not clean, to sanctify them unto the LORD.
That prepares his heart to seek God, the LORD God of his fathers, though he is not cleansed according to the purification of the sanctuary.
So kill the passover, and sanctify yourselves, and prepare your brethren, that they may do according to the word of the LORD by the hand of Moses.
