And it came to pass about this time, that Joseph went into the house to do his work; and there was none of the men of the house there within.


But he refused, and said unto his master's wife, Behold, my master knows not what is with me in the house, and he has committed all that he has to my hand;


There is none greater in this house than I; neither has he kept back anything from me but you, because you are his wife: how then can I do this great wickedness, and sin against God?


My son, walk not in the way with them; refrain your foot from their path:


To deliver you from the immoral woman, even from the seductress who flatters with her words;


The mouth of immoral women is a deep pit: he that is abhorred of the LORD shall fall therein.


For a harlot is a deep ditch; and a seductress is a narrow well.


She also lies in wait as for a prey, and increases the unfaithful among men.


For the lips of an immoral woman drop as a honeycomb, and her mouth is smoother than oil:


Remove your way far from her, and come not near the door of her house:


So she caught him, and kissed him, and with an impudent face said unto him,


That they may keep you from the immoral woman, from the seductress who flatters with her words.


For she sits at the door of her house, on a seat in the high places of the city,


Whosoever is simple, let him turn in here: and as for him that lacks understanding, she says to him,


Be not deceived: evil companions corrupt good morals.


Flee fornication. Every sin that a man does is outside the body; but he that commits fornication sins against his own body.


Abstain from all appearance of evil.


I will therefore that the younger women marry, bear children, rule the house, give no occasion to the adversary to speak reproachfully.


Flee also youthful lusts: but follow righteousness, faith, love, peace, with them that call on the Lord out of a pure heart.


Dearly beloved, I beseech you as aliens and exiles, abstain from fleshly lusts, which war against the soul;
