And he said unto him, Oh let not the Lord be angry, and I will speak: Suppose there shall thirty be found there. And he said, I will not do it, if I find thirty there.
And he said, Oh let not the Lord be angry, and I will speak yet but this once: Suppose ten shall be found there. And he said, I will not destroy it for ten's sake.
If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your Father who is in heaven give good things to them that ask him?
Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and you shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you:
I say unto you, Though he will not rise and give to him, because he is his friend, yet because of his importunity he will rise and give him as many as he needs.
And he spoke a parable unto them to this end, that men ought always to pray, and not to faint;
Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thus with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;
Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.
