Is there any thing of which it may be said, See, this is new? it has been already of old time, which was before us.


And I turned myself to behold wisdom, and madness, and folly: for what can a man do that comes after the king? even that which has been already done.


That which has been is now; and that which is to be has already been; and God requires that which is past.


Whatever has been is named already, and it is known that this is man: neither may he contend with him that is mightier than he.


Say you not, What is the cause that the former days were better than these? for you do not inquire wisely concerning this.


Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall you not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert.


How long will you go about, O you backsliding daughter? for the LORD has created a new thing in the earth, A woman shall protect a man.


But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who shall secretly bring in destructive heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction.


And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.


And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful.
