Comfort you, comfort you my people, says your God.


When he therefore was come up again, and had broken bread, and eaten, and talked a long while, even till break of day, so he departed.


And we went ahead to the ship, and sailed unto Assos, there intending to take aboard Paul: for so had he appointed, intending himself to go on foot.


Who comforts us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort them who are in any trouble, by the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted of God.


Whom I have sent unto you for the same purpose, that you might know our affairs, and that he might comfort your hearts.


And sent Timothy, our brother, and minister of God, and our fellow worker in the gospel of Christ, to establish you, and to encourage you concerning your faith:


Therefore comfort one another with these words.


Therefore comfort yourselves together, and edify one another, even as also you do.


Now we exhort you, brethren, warn them that are idle, encourage the faint-hearted, support the weak, be patient toward all men.


Now our Lord Jesus Christ himself, and God, even our Father, who has loved us, and has given us everlasting encouragement and good hope through grace,
