Behold, my belly is as wine which has no vent; it is ready to burst like new wineskins.


And the roof of your mouth like the best wine for my beloved, that goes down sweetly, flowing gently over lips and teeth.


And on this mountain shall the LORD of hosts make unto all people a feast of rich things, a feast of wines on the lees, of fat things full of marrow, of wines on the lees well refined.


And they of Ephraim shall be like a mighty man, and their heart shall rejoice as with wine: yea, their children shall see it, and be glad; their heart shall rejoice in the LORD.


The LORD of hosts shall defend them; and they shall devour, and subdue with sling stones; and they shall drink, and roar as with wine; and they shall be filled with blood like bowls, and like the corners of the altar.


For how great is his goodness, and how great is his beauty! grain shall make the young men cheerful, and new wine the maidens.


For these are not drunken, as you suppose, seeing it is but the third hour of the day.


If therefore the whole church be come together into one place, and all speak with tongues, and there come in those that are unlearned, or unbelievers, will they not say that you are mad?


And be not drunk with wine, in which is excess; but be filled with the Spirit;


And Eli said unto her, How long will you be drunk? put away your wine from you.
