Jehovah knew the thoughts of man that they are vanity.
The LORD knoweth the thoughts of man, That they are vanity.
The Lord knows the thoughts of man, that they are vain (empty and futile–only a breath). [I Cor. 3:20.]
Jehovah knoweth the thoughts of man, That they are vanity.
The LORD does indeed know human thoughts, knows that they are nothing but a puff of air.
And these have not known my ways. So I swore in my wrath: They shall not enter into my rest.
And these men have not known my ways: so I swore in my wrath that they shall not enter into my rest.
For, for thee we were killed all the day; we were reckoned as sheep of the slaughter.
And I come to gather together all nations and tongues, their works and their purposes; and they came and saw my glory.
For it has been written, I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, and put away the understanding of the intelligent.
For since in the wisdom of God the world by wisdom knew not God, God was contented by the foolishness of proclaiming to save them believing.
For the foolish thing of God is wiser than men; and the weak thing of God is stronger than men.
And again, The Lord knows the reasonings of the wise, that they are vain.
