And now, come, and we will kill him, and throw him into one of the pits; and we will say, An evil beast devoured him: and we shall see what will be his dreams.
And having twined a crown of thorns, they put upon, his head: and a reed upon his right hand: and having fallen upon the knees before him, they mocked him, saying, Hail, King of the Jews!
And they clothed him with purple, and put round him, having woven, a thorny crown.
And they struck his head with a reed, and they spit upon him, and having placed the knees, they worshipped him.
