To the woman he said, Multiplying, I will multiply thy pain and thy conception; in pain thou shalt bring forth children; and to thy husband thy desire, and he shall rule over thee.


And the decree of the king which he shall make being heard in all his kingdom, (for it is great,) and all the women shall give honor to their husbands, to the great and even to the small.


And I will you to know, that the head of every man is Christ; and the head of the woman the man; and the head of Christ God.


Women, place yourselves under your own husbands, as was permitted in the Lord.


But (what become women professing religious worship) with good works.


Of sound mind chaste, remaining at home, good subordinates to their own husbands, that the word of God be not defamed.


Likewise, wives being subject to their own husbands; that also, if any believe not the word, by the turning back of wives might be gained without the word;
