And came to the strong hold of TZor, and to all the cities of the Hivi, and of the Kenaanim: and they went out to the south of Yhudah, even to Beer-Sheva.


For mine Angel shall go before thee, and bring thee in unto the Amorites, and the Hittitim, and the Perizzites, and the Kenaanim, the Hivi, and the Yvusis: and I will cut them off.


And I will set thy bounds from the Red sea even unto the sea of the Plishtim, and from the desert unto the river: for I will deliver the inhabitants of the land into your hand; and thou shalt drive them out before thee.


And I have said, I will bring you up out of the affliction of Egypt unto the land of the Kenaanim, and the Hittitim, and the Amorites, and the Perizzites, and the Hivi, and the Yvusis, unto a land flowing with milk and honey.


Observe thou that which I Command thee this day: behold, I drive out before thee the Amorite, and the Kenaanite, and the Hittite, and the Perizzite, and the Hivite, and the Yvusi.


The Amalekites dwell in the land of the south: and the Hittitim, and the Yvusis, and the Amorites, dwell in the mountains: and the Kenaanim dwell by the sea, and by the coast of Yarden.


And as for the western border, ye shall even have the great sea for a border: this shall be your west border.


Turn you, and take your journey, and go to the mount of the Amorites, and unto all the places nigh thereunto, in the plain, in the hills, and in the vale, and in the south, and by the sea side, to the land of the Kenaanim, and unto Lvanon, unto the great river, the river Euphrates.


I pray thee, let me go over, and see the good land that is beyond Yarden, that goodly mountain, and Lvanon.


And all the plain on this side Yarden eastward, even unto the sea of the plain, under the springs of Pisgah.


When YY thy Elohim shall bring thee into the land whither thou goest to possess it, and hath cast out many nations before thee, the Hittitim, and the Girgashites, and the Amorites, and the Kenaanim, and the Perizzites, and the Hivi, and the Yvusis, seven nations greater and mightier than thou;


Until YY have given your brethren rest, as he hath given you, and they also have possessed the land which YY your Elohim giveth them: then ye shall return unto the land of your possession, and enjoy it, which Moshe YY 's servant gave you on this side Yarden toward the sunrising.


From the wilderness and this Lvanon even unto the great river, the river Euphrates, all the land of the Hittitim, and unto the great sea toward the going down of the sun, shall be your coast.


And they did so, and brought forth those five kings unto him out of the cave, the king of Yerushalayim, the king of Hevron, the king of Jarmuth, the king of Lachish, and the king of Eglon.


Even from the mount Halak, that goeth up to Seir, even unto Baalgad in the valley of Lvanon under mount Hermon: and all their kings he took, and smote them, and slew them.


And the land of the Giblites, and all Lvanon, toward the sunrising, from Baalgad under mount Hermon unto the entering into Hamath.


And the west border was to the great sea, and the coast thereof. This is the coast of the children of Yhudah round about according to their families.


And now YY your Elohim hath given rest unto your brethren, as he promised them: therefore now return ye, and get you unto your tents, and unto the land of your possession, which Moshe the servant of YY gave you on the other side Yarden.


Now to the one half of the tribe of Mnasheh Moshe had given possession in Bashan: but unto the other half thereof gave Y'howshu`a among their brethren on this side Yarden westward. And when Y'howshu`a sent them away also unto their tents, then he blessed them,


Behold, I have divided unto you by lot these nations that remain, to be an inheritance for your tribes, from Yarden, with all the nations that I have cut off, even unto the great sea westward.


And you went over Yarden, and came unto Yericho: and the men of Yericho fought against you, the Amorites, and the Perizzites, and the Kenaanim, and the Hittitim, and the Girgashites, the Hivi, and the Yvusis; and I delivered them into your hand.


And Y'howshu`a said, Hereby ye shall know that the living Elohim is among you, and that he will without fail drive out from before you the Kenaanim, and the Hittitim, and the Hivi, and the Perizzites, and the Girgashites, and the Amorites, and the Yvusis.


And the kohanim that bare the ark of the covenant of YY stood firm on dry ground in the midst of Yarden, and all the Yisraelites passed over on dry ground, until all the people were passed clean over Yarden.


And it came to pass, when all the kings of the Amorites, which were on the side of Yarden westward, and all the kings of the Kenaanim, which were by the sea, heard that YY had dried up the waters of Yarden from before the children of Yisrael, until we were passed over, that their heart melted, neither was there spirit in them any more, because of the children of Yisrael.


So YY was with Y'howshu`a; and his fame was noised throughout all the country.


And the men of Yisrael said unto the Hivi, Peradventure ye dwell among us; and how shall we make a league with you?
