For the LORD will judge his people, and have compassion on his servants.
For in death there is no memory of you. In She'ol, who shall give you thanks?
How long, God, shall the adversary reproach? Shall the enemy blaspheme your name forever?
Turn again, we beg you, God Tzeva'ot. Look down from heaven, and see, and visit this vine,
the stock which your right hand planted, the branch that you made strong for yourself.
How long, LORD? Will you hide yourself forever? Will your wrath burn like fire?

The LORD repented of the evil which he said he would do to his people.
