David answered Rechav and Ba`anah his brother, the sons of Rimmon the Be'erotite, and said to them, As the LORD lives, who has redeemed my soul out of all adversity,


I have not turned aside from your ordinances, for you have taught me.


How can a young man keep his way pure? By living according to your word.


that I may make the voice of thanksgiving to be heard, and tell of all your wondrous works.


Come, and hear, all you who fear God. I will declare what he has done for my soul.


For you are my hope, Lord GOD; my confidence from my youth.


But it is good for me to come close to God. I have made the Lord GOD my refuge, that I may tell of all your works.


Behold, I have taught you statutes and ordinances, even as the LORD my God commanded me, that you should do so in the midst of the land where you go in to possess it.
