You did establish to yourself your people Yisra'el to be a people to you forever; and you, LORD, became their God.


My soul, you have said to the LORD, *You are my Lord. Apart from you I have no good thing.*


He will guide the humble in justice. He will teach the humble his way.


But I trust in you, LORD. I said, *You are my God.*


Yes, even when I am old and gray-haired, God, don't forsake me, until I have declared your strength to the next generation, your might to everyone who is to come.


You will guide me with your counsel, and afterward receive me to glory.


My flesh and my heart fails, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever.


I walk in the way of righteousness, in the midst of the paths of justice;


and the LORD will guide you continually, and satisfy your soul in dry places, and make strong your bones; and you shall be like a watered garden, and like a spring of water, whose waters don't fail.


This I recall to my mind; therefore have I hope.
