The man said, *Let me go, for the day breaks.* Ya`akov said, *I won't let you go, unless you bless me.*
You, my lord the king, the eyes of all Yisra'el are on you, that you should tell them who shall sit on the throne of my lord the king after him.
Our God, will you not judge them? for we have no might against this great company that comes against us; neither know we what to do: but our eyes are on you.
My eyes are ever on the LORD, for he will pluck my feet out of the net.
He also spoke a parable to them that they must always pray, and not give up,
The men of Giv`on sent to Yehoshua to the camp to Gilgal, saying, Don't slack your hand from your servants; come up to us quickly, and save us, and help us: for all the kings of the Amori that dwell in the hill country are gathered together against us.
Now therefore you are cursed, and there shall never fail to be of you bondservants, both wood cutters and drawers of water for the house of my God.
That day Yehoshua made those wood cutters and drawers of water for the congregation, and for the altar of the LORD, to this day, in the place which he should choose.
