Then the earth shook and trembled. The foundations also of the mountains quaked and were shaken, because he was angry.

*Surely every man walks like a shadow. Surely they busy themselves in vain. He heaps up, and doesn't know who shall gather.


Why do you look in envy, you rugged mountains, at the mountain where God chooses to reign? Yes, the LORD will dwell there forever.


Mount Sinai, the whole of it, smoked, because the LORD descended on it in fire; and its smoke ascended like the smoke of a furnace, and the whole mountain quaked greatly.
