Yisra'el said to Yosef, *I didn't think I would see your face, and behold, God has let me see your seed also.*


Yosef saw Efrayim's children to the third generation. The children also of Makhir, the son of Menasheh, were born on Yosef's knees.


Notwithstanding in your days I will not do it, for David your father's sake: but I will tear it out of the hand of your son.
