Look at everyone who is proud, and humble him. Crush the wicked in their place.


*You shall not take the name of the LORD your God in vain, for the LORD will not hold him guiltless who takes his name in vain.


Most certainly, the evil man will not be unpunished, but the seed of the righteous will be delivered.


The LORD has made everything for its own end-- yes, even the wicked for the day of evil.


By mercy and truth iniquity is atoned for. By the fear of the LORD men depart from evil.


So is he who goes in to his neighbor's wife. Whoever touches her will not be unpunished.


The fear of the LORD is to hate evil. I hate pride, arrogance, the evil way, and the perverse mouth.


The lofty looks of man will be brought low, the haughtiness of men will be bowed down, and the LORD alone will be exalted in that day.


For there will be a day of the LORD of Armies for all that is proud and haughty, and for all that is lifted up; and it shall be brought low:


Woe to the wicked! Disaster is upon them; for the deeds of his hands will be paid back to him.


Hear you, and give ear; don't be proud; for the LORD has spoken.


But he gives more grace. Therefore it says, *God resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble.*
