The children of Yisra'el went and did so; as the LORD had commanded Moshe and Aharon, so they did.
All the wave offerings of the holy things, which the children of Yisra'el offer to the LORD, have I given you, and your sons and your daughters with you, as a portion forever: it is a covenant of salt forever before the LORD to you and to your seed with you.
The LORD spoke to Aharon, I, behold, I have given you the charge of my wave offerings, even all the holy things of the children of Yisra'el; to you have I given them by reason of the anointing, and to your sons, as a portion forever.
The persons were sixteen thousand; of whom the LORD's tribute was thirty-two persons.
Of the children of Yisra'el's half, which Moshe divided off from the men who warred
Every man's holy things shall be his: whatever any man gives the Kohen, it shall be his.*
Every heave offering of all the holy things of the children of Yisra'el, which they present to the Kohen, shall be his.
Take no bag for your journey, neither two coats, nor shoes, nor staff: for the laborer is worthy of his food.
But let him who is taught in the word share all good things with him who teaches.
Let the elders who rule well be counted worthy of double honor, especially those who labor in the word and in teaching.
