The king called the Giv`onim, and said to them (now the Giv`onim were not of the children of Yisra'el, but of the remnant of the Amori; and the children of Yisra'el had sworn to them: and Sha'ul sought to kill them in his zeal for the children of Yisra'el and Yehudah);


and over the camels was Ovil 1 the Yishme`elite: and over the donkeys was Yechdeyahu the Meronotite: and over the flocks was Yaziz the Hagrite.


Then Asa the king took all Yehudah; and they carried away the stones of Ramah, and the timber of it, with which Ba`sha had built; and he built therewith Geva and Mitzpah.
